MazharWaheed I've created a very basic WebForms project for .NET Framework 4.7.2 that is able to display the new Theme without errors, however there are some very hard and big caveats to this project:
- It is a plain conversion of the main content into
Site.master
- No partial content and/or content placeholders have been used other than
MainContent
- Elements such as
head
, aside
, header
and footer
are not separated out for re-use
- It is a completely empty/default WebForms project without any further assumptions on usage and/or configuration
- You will need to copy the contents of the
wwwroot
directory of the Full flavor into the root of this project
If you can use this example project to your advantage, great, if not, then you are on your own. I already spent 1 hour of my time on this to help you out, but this is as far as I am willing to take it.
Best of luck using WebForms, I do hope you will reconsider upgrading your own web stack to a more modern useful platform to not further restrict your own growth. I personally feel that sticking to such an archaic platform is not a wise or healthy choice, but I will refrain from making further statements as I cannot possibly understand the predicament you and your project currently is in.
Hope this helps.
