Hi, yes you can but you will need to add the necessary SCSS and JS files. Slim version was original designed to be the most simplest form of SA. Stripping to just the soul of SA.
In the next update - I have plans to add some automation for users to decide what features they want during the build process.
For now what you can do is open slim directory, and go to 'smartadmin-html-slim/src/scss/app.core.scss' on line 37 enable @import 'modules/nav-function-top';
THEN
open 'smartadmin-html-slim/build.json' and navigate to "app --> base --> src --> scripts" and edit the following to include app.menu.slider.js:
"{$config.path.src}/js/_config/app.config.js",
"{$config.path.src}/js/_modules/app.navigation.js",
"{$config.path.src}/js/_modules/app.menu.slider.js",
You are including the 'app.menu.slider.js' after 'app.navigation.js'
Then run the gulp build command and you can manually enable to top navigation by adding the class "nav-function-top" to your body tag
You can follow the same pattern to add or remove features by comparing your slim's build.json to the full's build.json
Hope that was helpful!
Thanks for your post.
